Lever/Lever
A lever is a rigid rod that pivots around an object. When you apply force to the end, the fulcrum will tend to rotate in the direction that the force is applied. This motion increases the force and allows you to lift or move objects that would otherwise require more force to lift.
The distance between the fulcrum and the place where you apply the force determines the distance the lever is able to move. This is called the mechanical advantage. The advantage of mechanical force increases as the lever is extended. You can calculate the mechanical advantage by dividing the distance from the fulcrum to the point where you're applying the force by the distance between the fulcrum and where you will end the lever.
Levers can produce different effects based on the method by which the force is applied. A lever of class 2 for instance, has a tendency of turning in the opposite direction when an force applied to it. The forces created by pushing on the handle of a front door will create rotational effects similar to those.
However, levers don't create energy. Levers increase the force by changing small amounts of effort applied over a long distance into greater amounts of force applied over shorter distances. Levers are used to lift heavy objects and transport huge amounts of cargo. This is also the principle behind the levers you find in a variety of everyday tools such as crowbars and fishing rods, claws for hammers, and even your legs when you sit on the hand brake of your vehicle.
Lever/Pad
Lever pad handles are a form of upvc door handle that have levers on both sides that operate the multipoint lock. They come in a variety of designs & finishes and are suitable for a range of materials, including UPVC, Aluminium & Timber doors. upvc door handles are sold as a pair for the outer and inner door with spindles & screws included. They are also available in handed and unhandled versions for different types of users.
They can be used to replace existing doors made of upvc. They are usually operated by lifting the levers to throw out all of the multipoint locks before turning the key to close / unlock. They are more secure in comparison to lever handles for doors because the locking function can only be gained via the inside using a key in the event that the door is locked.
They are not as safe as a cylinder lock but they are a cost-effective way to provide extra security to your home. The only downside is that they don't have the same level of security as a cylinder bolt and consequently don't block access to outside in the event that the door has been left open.

Lever/Snib

If your spouse is expected to arrive at home late from work, you can use the snib button to ensure that they can't get in until they're ready in. This kind handle can also be put in on doors inside, such as those in bedrooms, where you wish to limit access from outside.
Snib buttons can cause problems in certain circumstances, especially when you have old locks and warped doors. If the snib switch is accidentally pressed or by a person who isn't familiar with it, the door may slam and lock you out. You can usually get in by knocking the door frame or letterbox. But this isn't a good idea.

Lever/Moveable Pad
This popular handle design is used for front doors. It is advantageous because it has the benefit of preventing the door being opened without an outside key when the lock hasn't been deadlocked. This is achieved with the 'pad-shaped' handle that locks into the gap between the handle and lock case.
This handle is designed to work with uPVC multipoint locks that employ a split spindle mechanism. This kind of operation requires the internal lever handle and the external pad handle to be fitted within the same lock case. This can be a simple change from the current uPVC handles, but it could also require a change to the lock case or even a new set of handle furniture to allow for this additional function.

The lever handles are among the most commonly used types of upvc doors handles. They are available in a variety of styles. It has two inline handles that can be moved and is lockable with either a key or thumbturn cylinder on the inside. Pad handles can be used as an alternative to lever handles. It is comprised of an adjustable or fixed pad which can be used to operate locks. These Fullex handles have a spring-loaded lever pad with a snib that can be activated to stop the latch from closing.
